The UEFA Champions League final was held this year in London at Wembley Stadium. The contenders were Borussia Dortmund from Germany and Real Madrid from Spain.

The final was set up with intriguing prospects as Borussia Dortmund aimed to challenge the Spanish giant Real Madrid. Ultimately, Real Madrid was stronger and claimed the championship.

Coached by Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid celebrated their fifteenth Champions League victory on the London evening. Their previous victory was in 2022. Before that, the team won four championships between 2014 and 2018. For head coach Ancelotti, this Champions League final was the seventh of his career. Out of these seven finals, the Italian manager has emerged victorious five times.

After a fierce battle, the scoreboard showed 2-3 at the end of the second half. The goals in the match were scored by Daniel Carvajal and Vinicius Junior.

Alongside the finals, there were events in central London. The UEFA Champions Festival took over the streets, and Subsoccer was prominently featured with six games.
